It is a great system, but can get expensive.

There are other types of marketing you can become involved in as well. There is article marketing, safelist advertising, classified ads and advertising in ezines. They will all work for you in various degrees. One thing you need to keep in mind though is that it will take time and effort to get your business up and running and making a profit. It won’t make you a millionaire overnight, but with the proper amount of time and effort, it can add whatever amount of income you want to your life. You will just need to put in the effort to reach whatever goal you set for yourself. If you are a self disciplined person and can work without a boss looking over your shoulder, affiliate marketing may be perfect for you. If you need someone constantly looking over your shoulder to make sure you are completing the tasks you need to do, affiliate marketing is probably not right for you. It takes a desire and willingness to work to learn the techniques in order to be successful. And you not only have to learn them, you also have to APPLY them. Just buying a book on affiliate marketing is not going to help you unless you put into the practices what the book teaches.
