The Affiliate Marketing Jumpstart Guide
The Affiliate Marketing Jumpstart Guide
By James E Brown
Making money with affiliate marketing is easy once you understand how. In fact, bum marketing is named after the creator’s opinion that even a bum on the street could hop on a computer in the public library and start making money. This jumpstart guide will give you all the tools you need to get started making money with affiliate marketing.
The first step is to choose a product. I recommend targeting high-gravity products, because they generally have very refined and high-converting sales letters. The system itself bypasses competition.
Then use either Overture’s keyword tool or Keyword Discovery’s database to do your keyword research. Find keywords with over 500 searches a month and under 10,000 competing websites on Google for its quoted keyword. (For example, “German shepherd dog training” in quotes is a quoted keyword.) Now write your article. Find 3 articles on a similar subject in Ezine Articles, and use what you learn to write your new article. Feel free to synthesize ideas from various articles, as long as you don’t copy anything word-for-word. Use your keyword once in the subject, once in the opening line, and 2-6 times per 100 words throughout your body text.
Write a compelling author box to get your visitors to click onto your website. Use free gifts, benefits for your reader, and compelling sales language to get them to click through. Experiment with sending them straight to the product. Experiment with using a cloaked affiliate link. Try a two-post blog, where one post is content and one is a “review” (sales pitch) for the product you’re selling. Try a real review page.
Repeat this process for 10-20 articles per product before you move on. You should be speed-writing these articles at 3-5 articles an hour. Therefore, you shouldn’t be spending more than one full-time day on any one topic.

Free Affiliate Programs Can Make you Rich
By Joshua Spaulding
The way it works is that a company has products that they need to sell. These companies offer others a certain percentage of each sale that they refer. The person creating the referral does not pay anything to join and does not have to deal with packaging and shipping the item. When it comes down to it both the retailer and the affiliate benefit from these free programs.
So now that you know what a free affiliate program is, you need to know how to implement it in order to start making money. The first thing you need to do is to find the best affiliate program you can find that is selling what you want to promote. This can be done by going to almost any website on your topic and looking for a link that says affiliates or partners. While not every company has an affiliate program, most do. If you do not find one on your first couple tries do not worry, just keep looking until you find one.
There are a few websites that house hundreds of free affiliate programs in which you can apply for and manage through their site. These sites are especially useful if you want to promote several different programs. These affiliate hubs are not required and you can be very successful without them.
How do free affiliate programs work? You just find the program in which you want to promote, sign up and once you are approved you will receive a special link. This link is a very unique URL that tracks when someone purchases a product through it. Once a sale is made the company sends money your way.
The amount of money you will receive per sale depends on the free affiliate program that you signed up for. Most companies offer on average about five to ten percent commission on every sale. Some companies will give you so much money for every referral you send to them whether they buy a product or not. Just take a look into each company’s guidelines before signing up and find the one that best suites your needs.
If you own a website you can just post the link or banner on your website and let your viewers find it. If you do not own a website you can promote your link by telling friends and family or by pay per click advertising. Google adwords is a very popular pay per click program in which you pay them a set price for every click someone makes on your ad. If no one clicks you do not pay. If you can write a good ad you will find that you can make a lot of profit doing this. If you write a bad ad that no one is interested in then you may waste money.
There are many other ways to promote free affiliate programs. You may be able to think of better ways that I have stated above. It does not matter how you do it as long as you get people to buy from your link.
To Join or Not to Join an Affiliate Program
By Steven Gerber
Selling is one of the best ways to earn money. Actual selling can be difficult especially if you need to go to different places, carrying your products, and offering it face to face with your customer. Some are even a bit ashamed to do the actual physical selling themselves, because they don’t want to be turned down.
Selling nowadays is not only done through physical product selling, but also through affiliate programs. Have you heard of that term before? If you're new on the net, it simply means selling a product or service through commission basis. But this involves online selling, unlike the physical selling that most people dread.
If you have your very own website, it is much easier to start an affiliate program. It is an opportunity that you must not ignore because it can give you a considerable sum of money if you just know what it's all about and how it is carried out.
Here are important things that you should know before you join an affiliate program:
1. The different types of affiliate programs; including the pay per sale, pay per click, pay per lead, bounty, and two tier.
Once a customer buys a particular item, you will be paid a commission by 'pay per sale'.
The 'pay per click' type pays you every time a customer visits the site, and it doesn’t matter if the customer made a purchase or not, however, you'll earn more if the customers purchase something. With a PPC type, companies pay at the range of .05 dollars to .15 dollars.
You are paid a one-time fee only for each customer that visits the site; the payment is usually between two dollars to five dollars. If a customer signs up for application, the higher yield you'll get.
If you are able to refer a customer, you will get a finder's fee. If in the future the customer makes any purchases, you will no longer receive any commission, and this is called a bounty.
If you are able to make direct sales, you get a commission; and if your sub-affiliates generate sales, you will also get a commission out of their sales, this is called two tiered.
2. The benefits
The benefits of an affiliate program includes: all you have to do is to bring prospects to visit your site and you will not deal with people such as wholesalers, brokers, customer service, employees, technical support, process orders, warranties, and many more. You don’t need to stay on your computer to keep track of the site, you're free to go for a vacation, rest, etc.; and most especially, you can do it anywhere as long as there is an internet connection.
After weighing all these things, it's time to decide if you'll join an affiliate program or not. Once you decide to join, the company will give you a URL or a link. This links are used to gain access to the company's website.
This will allow the company to monitor your website, and the payment or commission that should be given to you.
Affiliate programs make money, so why not join the force. The internet is just there, waiting for interested people who are willing to venture into different business opportunities. If you're capable, and can become an effective affiliate, act now and join.
Affiliate Marketing - A Business Without Hassle?
By Ove Nordkvist
Do you look for a small business idea, which allow you to make money without the hassle of selling products, packing and shipping? Take a look at affiliate marketing.
Affiliate marketing can be a very good opportunity for you. Instead of sales pages you load your web site with information. In that change, you make your site more attractive for the search engines, your site will draw more traffic.
here are some basics of how to get going as an affiliate marketer
It all start with your web site. People search the Net for information. There are different ways to provide information. It can be Articles, product reviews, videos or chat rooms. You have to choose a theme for your site, and stick to that theme.
Your main task as an affiliate marketer is to get visitors to your web site. You don't have to worry about the sales pitch. Concentrate at get high traffic to your site.
Once people start to find your web site, and your interesting content. It's time to choose a good affiliate program.
How to choose the right affiliate program?
First, of course it has to be in the same theme as your web site content. If your site is about computers, your visitors are more likely to click at a link regarding computers, than a link regarding how to breed birds.
Second, you have to be sure that your merchant deliver as promised. Whether it's a product or a service, you must promote high quality stuff. If you wouldn't by from your merchant, so wont your visitors.
Third, choose one program, learn how it works, concentrate on this until you're satisfied with the outcome. Only then you choose the next one. You must master one program at the time, if you try to master 100 programs at one time, you'll not master any of them.
They way to succeed a an affiliate marketer is to implement one program at the time. Keep it to a handful of affiliate marketing programs. Affiliate marketing is an ongoing learning process. To be able to keep up with this process, you must restrict yourself to a few top notch programs.
weave in your affiliate links in your content. One or two links per page is enough. If you have to many links your visitors will feel that you only want to sell something to them.
This is a cornerstone for your success, your job is to provide useful information. You don't sell anything. After you have provided information, you make a recommendation, your visitor click at the link and your MERCHANT do the actual selling.
How Affiliate Marketing Works And Why You May Want To Consider It
By Gregg Hall
A relatively new method of generating income in the age of the Internet is called affiliate marketing. It is an option for making money that a great many site owners have adopted, with a great deal of success.
The way these programs work is actually quite simple. They seek to reward webmasters for allowing an outside company to promote their products and other materials on their sites. Consider for a moment the example of Webmaster A, who owns a site that promotes a series of ebooks. Webmaster A gets a certain amount of traffic to his or her site, which generates a certain level of sales. Now consider how the level of sales activity would increase if Webmaster A had 100, 1,000, or even 10,000 sites offering that same ebook for sale. More sites equal more sales! It's a very simple but effective concept.
The site owners who agree to allow another company to use their Web site to promote their products receive a commission from the sale of these items. It costs the host company nothing up front to have their products offered by other Web sites; no money will change hands until the new customer decides to purchase the product from the main Web site.
If your site generates a growing amount of traffic each month, it would be a very good idea to consider offering some related products to your customers as an affiliate of another site. The idea is a relatively simple one, but one that has proven to be quite effective over the last few years.
Both small and large businesses can benefit from affiliate marketing programs. Small businesses can promote their products to customers from around the world. With the number of new Web sites growing on a daily basis, there will always be new places for a company to promote their products. Large companies have the capability of promoting themselves on an even grander scale, generally in the thousands of Web sites.
Webmasters also like the idea of affiliate marketing because it can be quite a lucrative alternative source of income. The name of the game in Internet marketing is to create multiple income streams wherever possible and becoming an affiliate certainly fits the bill. One is not limited to one affiliate program on a Web site; site owners are free to choose several products they would like to promote and with the variety of products and materials that are marketed in this fashion, they will have no trouble finding an affiliate program or programs they would like to participate in.
With affiliate marketing programs paying anywhere up to a 35% commission on a single sale, there is no question that this is a most appealing opportunity for many people. In fact, the potential earnings for those involved in affiliate programs is virtually unlimited!
Top Money Making Affiliate Program
By Richard Norris
Affiliate programs are one of the best avenues to quick cash on the internet. You don't need your own website or products; you just need to find a hot selling item that you want to promote and then get target traffic to the page that you are provided by the affiliate. But, how do you choose the right affiliate program to promote? Let's take a look at some musts when it comes to affiliate programs:
1) The product should be one that you have personally purchased and used. It's going to be vital to your marketing efforts to be familiar with the product in order to know what population to market the product to, how to correctly word advertisements that you will use to drive traffic to your promotion, and to write articles that can also be used to attract traffic to your affiliate program.
2) Promote affiliate products that have a minimum of a 50% commission structure. One of the first things that you will want to do when beginning to get started in affiliate marketing is to go to www.clickbank.com and enroll for your own clickbank i.d. This is how you will get paid. But, clickbank also keeps a large list of affiliate programs that you can use to determine what you will be promoting, and many have commission structures as high as 75% (now that's a serious return for your effort).
3) Regardless the commission rate, you should concentrate on products that are going to pay you at least $40 per sale. You are going to have to do some work to drive traffic to your affiliate, so make sure that you are getting a serious return on your effort. You'll be surprised at how soon you can replace your fulltime job if you are getting multiple $40 commissions on a daily basis.
So, get out there and find those affiliate programs that are paying top commissions and get after making your dreams reality.
Earn Money Quickly - What's the Secret?
By Richard Norris
Let's face it, making money quickly is key to starting and staying with any home business. Who wants to wait for months, even years to see results? So, how can someone enter into the online money sweepstakes and come out with a return instead of a maxed out credit card and nothing in the bank? Many think, erroneously, that in order to make it big on the internet you have to have your own website and hundreds of products to sell, when nothing could be further from the truth.
The fact is that one of the best ways for newbies to the world of internet marketing to make serious money is by getting involved in affiliate programs. By becoming an affiliate of a quality product you get paid to find customers, and get paid a percentage of the sale to do so. You don't need your own website, the affiliate is more than happy to provide you with a page to send your prospects for the product. With a little research on how to drive targeted traffic, you will be making money quickly and saying "See ya" to the boss and co-workers in no time flat. Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to get started earning money online because there are a number of products that can be represented, depending on your unique interests. As with any business, you will be far more successful marketing products that you are familiar with and have used personally. Also, with affiliate products you can easily market multiple products, thus creating several streams of income. Once you get the hang of marketing products for others, you will educate yourself on how to best market your own information products later on, increasing your income even greater. Master the world of affiliate marketing and use it as the base for your online fortune; from there, the sky is the limit.
What You Don't Know About Affiliate Marketing is Costing You a Fortune
By Jeff Diehl
The majority of affiliates are frustrated in their attempt to make any real money online. You've no doubt heard that the affiliate route is the easiest way to get started... AND it is! But, you haven't been told the whole truth. AND it's not your fault.
Affiliate marketing is relatively painless and involves little or no cost because...
You don't need a product of your own
You don't need to build a complicated website
You have no shipping or inventory costs
You don't handle credit cards or refunds
Then you're told all you have to do is promote your affiliate link and refer people to a merchant site. You are rewarded by getting a percentage of the profits. TRUE...
But, promoting your affiliate link is only the beginning!
What you need to understand is that the critical element for long-term success is to build an opt-in list of prospects. Yes, prospects, they are not customers yet! It is these "potential buyers" that you must form a relationship with over time and who will purchase the products you recommend. They will come to trust your recommendations as you routinely follow up with your personal experience with those products.
Avoid the mistake that 95% of affiliates make... assume people will buy from you.
First, people do not give up their hard earned cash easily or the first time they see a product. Do you buy the first new car you see? Probably not unless you're in desperate need. Online buying is no different.
Second, people rarely make a major purchase from someone they don't know or trust. You are merely one of millions of affiliates trying to convince them that your product will fullfill their needs.
The #1 mistake you can make is to send your prospects directly to a merchant's website. Ponder this: You purchase advertising or spend countless hours generating traffic from your promotional efforts and you send those prospects straight to a merchant's site. You have just lost them forever if they don't buy!
If they do buy, you just got lucky with a commission. But you're still flushing a lot of potential cash down the toilet!
That is precisely why you need to get people to opt-in to YOUR list first. You'll be able to recommend products and follow up with multiple offers days, weeks and even months later. You'll actually enjoy the lifetime value of turning prospects into YOUR customers!
If you do not build your list, you cannot build your business... you're only building someone else's!
The key to affiliate success is to...
Drive traffic to your lead capture page
Convince those prospects to opt-in to your list
Follow up through email campaigns
PREsell your prospects with quality content and personal recommendations
The long term profit potential of your business relies on repeat sales from some of the same satisfied customers. Any successful off-line business already knows this... Wal Mart, Walgreens, Trader Joes. Your online business is no different!
